Rankins Cricket Club are holding Cricket match on Sunday 8th September in aid of MNDA South Essex Branch

Thames Bridges Trek

Barry Mizen and Stuart Sparkes of Runwell Hospital Bowls Club are doing the Thames Bridges Trek in aid of MNDA on Saturday 14th September 2024. This is a 15 mile trek crossing 16 bridges from Putney Bridge in the West to Tower Bridge in the East, and finishing in Southwark Park. Come along and support them, or please donate to this worthy cause below.

The Annual quiz night for MND is being held at the Canvey Island War Memorial Hall on Friday 11th October at 7pm.

Christmas lunch and panto

It has become a branch tradition that we organise an outing to a matinee performance of the pantomime and all meet for Christmas lunch first. There is no cost to anyone living with MND as we pay for you, an accompanying person and any young children (not grandchildren) you may have. This year the panto is Jack and the Beanstalk, starring Rylan as 'the spirit of the beans' We have reserved tickets for the matinee on Wednesday December 18th. This includes all 7 wheelchair spaces for those who are unable to transfer into the theatre seats.
